ACSEL Microfinance is hiring Loan Officers to fill positions at our Mukono branch with the following duties and responsibilities;
ACSEL Microfinance is a Tier 4 financial institution regulated by the Microfinance Regulatory Department of the Ministry of Finance, formerly UMRA. We serve micro, small and medium businesses with affordable credit.
Duties and Responsibilities
The Loan Officers will carry out the following duties on behalf of the company:

Perform sales mobilisation for ACSEL’s loan products in the micro, small and medium business market.

Carry out customer loan appraisals based on the 5Cs of credit to qualify them for loan approval.

Closely manage and monitor a quality loan portfolio, ensuring timely loan instalment repayments.

Aid the onboarding of existing customers onto the ACSEL digital platform (the ACSEL mobile app) for future self-service.

Meet the monthly loan disbursement target assigned, while maintaining a good quality loan book.
Knowledge and Experience Required

He or she must possess a minimum qualification of a Diploma in any finance or business discipline.

Must have microfinance work experience of at least 1 year.
