Utilities Maintenance Technicians

Hariss International Limited is hiring Utilities Maintenance Technicians with the following abilities;

Division / Department: Maintenance

Reports to: Maintenance In charge

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Perform maintenance work on plant equipment e.g. ups, Generators, elevators, transformers.
• Diagnose, clean, repair, and replace defective parts of machines.
• Draft technical data sheets (maintenance of files of machines) and information at level of computerized maintenance management system.
• Participate in the improvement of maintenance procedures.
• Participate in the implementation of effective maintenance procedures which includes efficiency of machines.
• Provide technical support to the maintenance team consistently where need arises.
• Carry out both preventive and corrective maintenance on all machines as directed by the maintenance manager.
• Performs any other task as per management request.

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements: 

• A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or a related discipline.
• A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role in a busy environment.

Key Requirements: 

• At least 2-3 years hands-on in the Food Industry. Beverage manufacturer a distinct advantage.
• Familiar with Carbonated Soft Drinks and/or water treatment plant.
• Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
• Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices
