Description

SurePay is hiring a highly motivated and experienced   Senior Salesperson  (3)  to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 6 years of experience in a sales role, with a proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets. As a Senior Salesperson, you will be responsible for driving sales, building strong relationships with clients, and mentoring junior sales staff to achieve business growth and customer satisfaction.

Reports to:  Regional Manager

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve company sales targets and objectives. Build a strong pipeline of prospective clients and maintain a consistent and sustainable level of sales activity.
  • Client Relationship Management: Establish, develop, and maintain long-term relationships with key clients. Understand client needs and provide tailored solutions to meet their requirements.
  • Lead Generation & Prospecting: Identify new business opportunities through market research, networking, and lead generation. Qualify leads and convert them into active customers.
  • Sales Presentations & Negotiations: Deliver compelling sales presentations, product demonstrations, and pricing negotiations. Effectively communicate the value proposition of our products/services to potential clients.
  • Team Leadership & Mentorship: Provide guidance and support to junior sales team members. Share best practices and assist in training and developing the team to enhance their sales performance.
  • Sales Reporting: Track and report on sales performance, including setting and monitoring individual sales targets. Provide regular updates to management regarding sales progress and challenges.
  • Market Analysis & Feedback: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs. Share valuable insights with the product development and marketing teams to improve offerings.
  • Customer Service: Address customer concerns and resolve issues to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
  • Additional certifications in sales or business development are a plus.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a sales role, with at least 2 years in a senior or leadership position.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships.
  • Strong understanding of sales techniques and strategies, with experience in lead generation, qualification, and closing.
  • Ability to mentor and lead a team of sales professionals.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Microsoft Excel.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in Fintech industry is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Proactive problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to build and nurture long-term client relationships.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
