Description
Stanbic Bank Uganda is hiring a Retail Sales Manager – Global Markets to drive the sale and delivery of Global Markets products across an asset class by engaging clients, identifying solutioning opportunities, and delivering tailored products and services that meet client needs. The role focuses on growing client relationships, originating new business, and contributing to a sustainable and competitive client franchise while adhering to risk and regulatory frameworks.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Engage with multiple clients to understand their needs, assess opportunities, and deliver appropriate Global Markets products and solutions across an asset class.
- Identify gaps in current product offerings and collaborate with internal specialists to design and deliver tailored client solutions.
- Provide client thought leadership to strengthen relationships, enhance client experience, and grow market share and share of wallet.
- Sell commoditised/flow products using price competitiveness and digital channels, while also packaging solutions for targeted client segments.
- Leverage market, client, and data insights to inform solution design and improve product relevance and client engagement.
- Ensure adherence to risk and regulatory frameworks, promoting transparency, fair pricing, and strong client outcomes.
- Analyse and interpret market, client, and portfolio data to identify opportunities and resolve business challenges.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders across trading, client experience, and solutions teams to deliver integrated client propositions.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- First degree in Business Commerce or a related field.
- At least 5 years’ relevant experience in client management or Global Markets roles.
- Demonstrated experience in managing client relationships and leveraging networks to drive business growth.
- Strong understanding of multiple financial products and the ability to integrate across asset classes.
- Proven ability to influence the value chain and improve client experience and product performance.
