Head of Housekeeping

Victoria Forest Resort Ltd invites applications from qualified Ugandans to fill the position of Head of Housekeeping.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in housekeeping or a related field.
• Exceptional cleaning skills and attention to detail.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Physical stamina to perform physically demanding tasks.
• Reliability and dependability in fulfilling job responsibilities.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and priorities.
• Proficiency in languages other than English is a plus.
• Customer service-oriented mindset with a focus on providing exceptional service.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas.
• Dust, vacuum, sweep, mop floors, and perform other cleaning tasks to ensure all surfaces are spotless and sanitized.
• Demonstrate meticulous attention to detail in cleaning and organizing spaces to maintain a neat and orderly environment.
• Manage time effectively to complete tasks efficiently within specified timeframes while maintaining quality standards.
• Utilize physical stamina to handle physically demanding aspects of the job, including lifting and moving heavy objects.
• Exhibit reliability and dependability by consistently showing up for scheduled shifts and completing assigned tasks with precision.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to understand expectations, report issues, and coordinate tasks as needed.
• Demonstrate flexibility to adapt to changing priorities, schedules, and unexpected situations.
• Utilize previous housekeeping experience to perform duties effectively and efficiently.
• Use language skills to communicate with diverse clientele and provide exceptional service to guests or residents.
• Exhibit excellent customer service skills in interactions with clients, guests, or residents to ensure a positive and welcoming experience.
