Graduate Trainee – Laboratory

EnviroServ (U) Limited, a waste a management company is looking for a Graduate Trainee – Laboratory to join its Laboratory – ideal for 2025/2026 graduates starting a career in chemical Engineering.

Duties, Roles and Responsibilities :

• Manage sample receipt, storage, and retrieval.
• Work with guidance from the laboratory analyst to prepare samples, standards & reagents for analysis
• Ensure cleanliness and tidiness in the laboratory is maintained
• Ensure that glassware is kept clean and available for laboratory use
• Participate in sample analysis on equipment as authorized
• Participate in compilation of analysis reports as and when required
• Maintain proper records for all tasks assigned
• Participate in monitoring the environmental conditions of the laboratory and reporting anomalies as soon as possible Participate in carrying out operational maintenance to ensure up time of equipment.
• Participate in any investigations to identify the root causes and determine corrective actions
• To adhere to current policies and regulations.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor of Chemical engineering/Bsc . chemistry/Bsc. Technology ( Chemistry)
• Graduated in 2025/2026 with a Second class upper and above
• Basic knowledge of Laboratory processes Proficiency in Microsoft excel and other computer applications

• Good analytical, numberical and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail, integrity and confidentiality
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Willingness to learn and work under supervision.
