Job Overview:
The Environment Associate will focus on developing, implementing, and overseeing environmental programs within the Nutraceutical industry, creating innovative solutions for beauty, skincare, and wellness products while ensuring sustainability in all aspects of product development and corporate operations.
Key Responsibilities:
General Responsibilities (Role A):
- Policy Implementation: Develop and enforce environmental policies in waste reduction, energy and water conservation, pollution prevention, sustainable procurement, and biodiversity conservation.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct testing and quality control throughout product development to ensure product safety and efficacy.
- Compliance and Monitoring: Regularly assess compliance with environmental regulations, implement corrective measures, and perform environmental audits.
- Community Engagement: Promote environmental education and engage with the community to foster awareness and sustainability efforts.
- Continuous Improvement: Evaluate and enhance environmental practices based on performance metrics and feedback for ongoing sustainability improvements.
Specific Responsibilities (Role B) – Nutraceutical Industry:
- Product Development: Assist in creating minimum viable products using agricultural waste, including briquettes and organic recycling projects.
- Quality Control: Develop standards and procedures for new products, including training manuals and quality assessment protocols.
- Training and Education: Conduct physical and virtual training sessions on environmental stewardship according to the organization’s schedule.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science or a related field is required; a Master’s degree is preferred.
- Experience in environmental compliance and a strong understanding of regulatory standards.
- Strong analytical abilities, effective communication skills, and proficiency in project management and environmental software tools.
- A proactive approach to enhancing environmental performance and contributing to sustainability goals.
