Cordelia Finance Uganda Limited is hiring a Customer Service Officer (2) to be the primary point of contact between our institution and valued customers.Your role is vital in delivering exceptional service, addressing inquiries, promoting our products, and ensuring customer satisfaction. You will thrive in a supportive and innovative work environment, characterized by flexibility and collaboration.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Customer Interaction: Greet and assist customers professionally, addressing inquiries and resolving complaints promptly.
  • Product Promotion: Provide detailed information about products and services, identifying customer needs and suggesting financial solutions.
  • Account Management: Assist with account openings, updates, and closures while adhering to compliance procedures.
  • Transaction Processing: Handle transactions accurately, ensuring adherence to internal controls and regulatory guidelines.
  • Feedback Collection: Gather customer feedback to identify areas for service improvement and relay insights to relevant departments.
  • Administrative Support: Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and assist in organizing promotional events.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Social Sciences, or related fields.
  • Experience: No prior experience required, but a customer service background is advantageous.
  • Skills: Active Listening, Effective Communication, Complex Problem Solving, Social Perceptiveness, Time Management.
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with customer service practices, administrative tasks, and basic computer skills.
  • Language Proficiency: Proficient in English and Luo.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certifications: ACCA or CPA preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with banking software.
  • Experience: Previous customer service experience in the banking or financial sector is a plus.
