Description
KCB Bank Uganda is hiring a CRB Officer with the following key duties and responsibilities;
Key Responsibilities
- To coordinate the banks credit reporting to the credit reference bureaus.
- Ensure data integrity on the information reported to CRBs.
- Undertake continuous data clean up on both good and the bad book.
- Coordinating the retrieval of information from CRBs for purposes of credit analysis
- Ensure that the bank is in compliance with the (CRB regulations) at all times
- Prepare and submit periodic reports in respect of CRB to the regulator and as required.
- Investigate and timely resolution of all disputes from the Bureaus and clients.
- Monitor reconciliation of CRB related payments.
- Run online CRB Reports and share as and when required by Branches and other units
- Ensure loan applications are well captured by Branches under credit Applications
Daily Responsibilities
- Resolve customer disputes and queries on the bank’s submitted data by working in conjunction with the Legal Unit.
- Ensure updates of the bank’s data earlier submitted to CRB by stating the current status and amending any submissions done with errors or obsolete data.
- Liaise with Relationship Managers, Branch managers and branch staff to ensure information is submitted as per the bank policy and regulatory requirement.
- Run online CRB Reports and share as and when required.
- Monitor reconciliation of CRB related payments.
- Ensure loan applications are well captured by Branches under credit Applications
