The Little Cafe is hiring a friendly and reliable Cashier to join the team. The ideal candidate will provide excellent customer service, handle transactions accurately, and maintain a clean and organized checkout area. If you’re a team player with a positive attitude and strong attention to detail, we’d love to meet you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers as they enter and leave the cafe.
- Operate cash registers, scanners, and other point-of-sale equipment.
- Handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions accurately.
- Issue receipts, refunds, or change as necessary.
- Answer customer questions and provide assistance when needed.
- Maintain a clean and orderly checkout area.
- Count the cash drawer at the beginning and end of shifts.
- Follow all store policies and procedures regarding cash handling and security.
Requirements
- Diploma, bachelors degree or equivalent preferred.
- Previous cashier or customer service experience is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.
