Description
Victoria Equipment Limited is hiring a dynamic and self-motivated AfterSales Officer with a background in Auto or Mechanical Engineering. The ideal candidate is results-oriented, adaptable, and thrives in a fast-paced environment, with a proven ability to drive sales and deliver outstanding customer service under pressure.

Department: Aftersales, Victoria Equipment Limited
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain an effective Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system for all VEQ brands.
- Actively promote and sell VEQ products across the Ugandan market.
- Conduct regular and effective customer visits nationwide.
- Perform machine walk-arounds, preventive maintenance inspections, and technical evaluations, providing actionable recommendations to clients.
- Prepare and submit detailed reports, including customer visit summaries, call reports, machine condition assessments, and sales forecasts.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records and machine population data.
- Monitor competitor activities and provide insights on market trends and customer needs.
- Collaborate with parts, service, sales, and OEM representatives to ensure seamless delivery of services and parts to customers.
- Promptly follow up on customer feedback and escalate to relevant departments.
- Submit comprehensive activity reports to the Sales Manager.
Qualifications and Experience
- Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in one of the following disciplines:
- Mechanical Engineering
- Auto Engineering
- Commerce
- Marketing
- Economics & Development Economics
- Business Studies
- International Business
- Sales & Marketing
- Bachelor’s Degree in one of the following disciplines:
- Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar aftersales or customer-facing role.
Skills and Competencies
- Strong business acumen and market awareness.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Customer-centric mindset with a focus on building lasting relationships.
- Confident presentation and negotiation abilities.
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Results-driven with a track record of meeting targets.
- Technical knowledge of heavy equipment operations and maintenance.
- Proficiency in reporting tools and CRM software.
