Accountant
Loyalty Solutions is hiring an Accountant to play a crucial role in maintaining the integrity of our financial records. This full-time position requires you to work on-site in Kyanja, reporting directly to the Director. You will be part of a small team, where your contributions will significantly impact our operations. We are looking for someone who is proactive, adaptable, and has a strong sense of integrity.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Operate computers programmed with accounting software to record, store, and analyze financial information.
- Prepare and process payroll information accurately and efficiently.
- Compile budget data and documents based on estimated revenues and expenses.
- Prepare bank deposits by verifying and balancing receipts from cashiers.
- Receive, record, and bank cash, checks, and vouchers.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business or related fields.
- Experience: 2-3 years in a similar accounting role.
- Skills: Critical Thinking, Writing, Time Management.
- Knowledge Areas: Customer and Personal Service, Administrative, Economics and Accounting, Computers and Electronics.
- Technology Knowledge: Proficient in MS Office Suite.
- Language Requirements: Proficiency in English and Luganda.
Preferred Qualifications
- Additional Skills: Mathematics.
