The Archivist will be responsible for the classification, filing and retrieval of company documents, ensuring effective management and maintenance of the archive system. Handle the digitization and confidentiality of documents, and support administrative related tasks. Requires meticulous work attitude and archive management skills.

Job Description/Requirements

File classification and filing: Responsible for the classification, numbering and filing of various company documents to ensure the systematic management of documents.

Archive maintenance: Regularly check the integrity and availability of archives, update and maintain data in the archive system.

File retrieval: Provide file retrieval services as needed to ensure that employees can find the required archive materials in a timely manner.

File protection and confidentiality: Ensure the security and confidentiality of archives, and manage sensitive information in accordance with company policies.

Electronic archive management: Participate in the digitization of company documents, convert paper documents into electronic archives, and manage them in the electronic archive system.

File delivery and registration: Responsible for the delivery and registration of important documents to ensure the circulation record of documents within the company.

Support administrative work: Assist in handling administrative tasks related to documents, such as copying, scanning and document sorting.

Job requirements:

Education background: Technical secondary school or above, archive management, information management or related majors are preferred.

Work experience: More than 1 year of archive management or clerical work experience is preferred.

Skills

Familiar with the archive management system, strong organizational skills and meticulous work attitude, proficient in using office equipment (such as printers, scanners).

Language Skills:

Ability to understand and process documents in Swahili and English.
