Description

Q-Sourcing Limited trading is hiring a Visa specialist able to fully manage the process of handling visas, work permits, residence permits and other entry-exit documents for local & Chinese employees in Uganda. This role requires accuracy, proactive communication with agencies, and ability to handle sensitive documents confidentially.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Liaise with Uganda Immigration Department, Ministry of Labour and consulates to coordinate document collection, verification, submission, progress tracking, policy consultation & issue resolution.
  • Maintain visa records, update Uganda immigration policies timely, ensure employees’ compliant & smooth travel, and support workforce mobility for Uganda business.
  • Familiar with Uganda visa, work permit, immigration regulations & procedures; strong skills in document verification, filing & cross-department communication; proficient in Office software, detail-oriented & stress-resistant.
  • Manage accurate records of all visa applications, approvals, expiries, and supporting documents while building and maintaining professional relationships.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
  • Prior experience in Uganda/Africa visa preferably in immigration or foreign-related or HR administration.
  • Strong knowledge of immigration procedures and documentation.
  • Minimum 1-3 years of relevant experience in foreign visa, immigration affairs or HR administration.
