Description
Exquisite Solution Limited is recruiting a Wastewater Attendant for a client in the manufacturing sector. The position is responsible for managing wastewater operations to support and ensure compliance with the statutory Environmental Management System (EMS).
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain the physical wastewater treatment plant.
- Manage and run the biological wastewater treatment process.
- Monitor equipment performance and promptly report any abnormalities to the maintenance team or relevant personnel.
- Ensure accurate dosing of chemical components, while monitoring stock levels and reporting in a timely manner.
- Maintain up-to-date daily operational records for review as required.
- Receive, handle, and manage sludge in accordance with established procedures.
- Ensure the wastewater treatment plant is always kept clean and orderly.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Diploma or Certificate in Environmental Science, Chemistry, or a related field.
- Physically fit and capable of performing manual tasks.
- Basic knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) standards.
- Understanding of quality control processes and practices.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Demonstrated initiative and ability to work independently.
