Description
We are seeking a vibrant, friendly, enthusiastic, and compassionate Female Shop Attendant to join Pretty Little Baby. The ideal candidate will have a passion for assisting families and providing exceptional customer service in a warm and welcoming retail environment. You will be instrumental in helping parents and caregivers find the perfect products for their little ones, ensuring a positive and memorable shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities
- Warmly welcome and engage with all customers, offering proactive assistance and guidance to help them find suitable baby products (e.g., clothing, feeding accessories, toys, gear, nursery items).
- Develop and maintain strong product knowledge across our entire inventory, effectively communicating features, benefits, and usage instructions to customers.
- Accurately process sales transactions handling cash, mobile money, and card payments efficiently and securely.
- Maintain the shop’s appearance by ensuring shelves are well-stocked, products are neatly arranged, and displays are attractive and engaging.
- Handle customer inquiries, product returns, and exchanges professionally and patiently, aiming for customer satisfaction and positive resolutions.
- Assist with inventory management tasks, including receiving new stock, conducting stock counts, and reporting low stock levels.
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment and good experience with social media.
Requirements
- Minimum of a Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE) or equivalent.
- Proven experience in a retail or customer service role is highly desirable of FMCG. Experience working with baby products or in a family-oriented retail setting is a strong advantage.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient and empathetic approach.
- Strong basic numeracy skills for handling transactions and counting stock.
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new product information and store procedures.
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and flexible to work retail hours, including weekends and public holidays as required.
