Ntake Bakery Nalukolongo is hiring Tukutuku (Tricycle) Riders who will ensures timely and safe delivery of bakery products to customers while maintaining excellent customer service.

Reporting To: Fleet Officer
- Bakery Operations: With state-of-the-art facilities in Kampala, Jinja, Mbarara, Lira, Masaka, and Mbale, we produce high-quality baked goods serving both local and regional markets.
- Flour Milling: Our advanced mill at Nalukolongo provides premium flour products such as Kaswa Baking Flour, Biscuit Flour, and Cake Flour, catering to diverse industries.
- Real Estate: Through our Concrete Batching Plant and Estates division, we support infrastructure needs and regional development.
- Sustainability Initiatives: Our Tissues Factory (AAA) focuses on recycling and producing Maxisoft tissues and serviettes.
- Edible Oil Refinery: At Namanve Industrial Business Park, we produce fortified vegetable oil, laundry bar soap, baker’s fat, and industrial plastics.
At Ntake Bakery, innovation, sustainability, and customer satisfaction are at the heart of everything we do. As we expand across East Africa, we’re seeking TUKUTUKU (Tricycle) Riders to join our team at Nalukolongo Headquarters.
Key Responsibilities
- Product Delivery
- Safely operate tricycles (TUKUTUKU) to deliver bakery products promptly.
- Ensure accurate loading and unloading of products as per delivery schedules.
- Stock Management
- Verify product quantities against delivery notes before departure.
- Handle products carefully to prevent damage during transit.
- Report any discrepancies or damages to the Fleet Officer.
- Tricycle Maintenance and Safety
- Conduct routine checks on tricycles (fuel, brakes, lights, tires) for optimal performance.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of tricycles to reflect company standards.
- Customer Service
- Address customer inquiries about bakery products courteously.
- Collect and relay customer feedback to improve product quality and service.
- Route Planning and Reporting
- Plan efficient delivery routes to conserve fuel.
- Maintain detailed delivery records, including mileage and delivery timelines.
- Compliance with Policies
- Adhere to company policies, traffic regulations, and safety protocols.
- Ensure all delivery documents are completed and signed by customers.
- Support Warehouse Operations
- Assist in organizing bakery products in the warehouse.
- Monitor inventory levels to ensure product availability.
- Cash Handling
- Collect payments for cash-on-delivery orders and submit them to the Finance team.
- Maintain accurate transaction records.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Valid riding permit for a tricycle (Category B1).
- Minimum of 1 year of delivery experience or a similar role.
- O-Level and/or A-Level qualifications (advantageous).
- Familiarity with local routes and customer locations.
- Knowledge of bakery products (advantageous).
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- High integrity, reliability, and commitment.
