Position: Warehouse Controllers
Location: Luzira – Portbell

Job Purpose:
The Warehouse Controller is responsible for planning, coordinating, supervising, and managing stock and other warehouse activities to ensure efficient operations.

Key Accountabilities:

• Accurately receive stock both into the warehouse and on-site as applicable.
• Track and continuously improve the productivity of forklift operators, warehousemen, and loaders.
• Ensure transactions are processed efficiently and accurately to meet client demands.
• Manage FIFO (First In, First Out) practices in the warehouse to minimize stock expiry risks.
• Account for all stocks at the end of each shift and maintain accurate records.
• Count all stock at the start and end of each shift, entering results accurately on the count sheet.
• Participate in customer, regulatory, and internal operational audits as required, and collaborate with the team to implement action plans.
• Manage resources necessary for shift operations, ensuring readiness for timely starts.
• Ensure proper stock management to prevent damage and loss.
• Record stock transactions accurately and report at the end of each shift.
• Oversee shift productivity and the achievement of KPIs and targets.
• Report accidents and incidents immediately to the supervisor or manager.
• Supervise the use of infrastructure and inspect working conditions to meet required standards.

Qualifications, Experience & Attributes:

• Bachelor’s degree in Procurement and Logistics, Accounting and Finance, or a related Supply Chain course.
• 2-3 years of warehouse/logistics experience.
• A certificate in logistics is an added advantage.
